The streets of Inverness will be echoing to the sound of titters, guffaws and big belly laughs at the end of the week, as the city once again plays host to top comedians as part of the Happyness Inverness Comedy festival.

The four-day festival, organised by Edinburgh Comedy legends Gilded Balloon, runs from Thursday May 22nd to Sunday May 25th and offers something for everyone with a wide range of comic styles and comeday stylings taking place at venues across the area.

Fun Packed Programme for Happyness Festival

Headline acts for the 2014 Happyness Inverness Comedy Festival include such household names as Patrick Kielty, Fred Macaulay, Sean Hughes and Jason Byrne and the event will also include acts from some of the rising stars of the UK comedy circuit.

The fun-packed Happyness programme even includes a selection of family events, including Fred the Clown at Eden Court, and a day of festival fun and games in Falcon Square on Saturday – to celebrate the festival’s third birthday!

Inverness Comedy Festivals Offers “Outstanding Line Up”

Festival artistic director Karen Koren of Gilded Balloon said: “They say, ‘the third time’s the charm’ and this couldn’t be more true for Happyness Comedy Festival 2014; with an outstanding line up effervescing with Celtic charm!

We are thrilled to bring Happyness back to Inverness and we hope you’ll come and join us for what’s destined to be a great festival!”
