Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open Golf Championship

The Scottish Open Golf Championship returned to Castle Stuart from 11th to 14th July 2013 where spectators enjoyed four days of superb weather. A closely fought contest saw Phil Mickelson pick up the trophy before going on to win the British Open the following weekend - proof indeed that Mickelson's claim that playing Castle Stuart was the perfect way of preparing for the British Open!

We are delighted that the Inverness venue – co-designed by managing partner Mark Parsinen and golf course architect Gil Hanse has been selected to host the tournament again in July 2016.
