An attractive city in its own right,
Inverness is also the gateway to the countless scenic and environmental
delights of the Highlands of Scotland. Towering mountains,
dark lochs, great forests and precipitous sea cliffs,
are all within easy reach. And, of course, you will find that there are organised
tours from Inverness to help you explore the wilderness areas of Strathspey,
Caithness, Sutherland, Wester Ross, Lochaber and
the Isle of Skye.
In addition, there are many fine golf courses, adventure parks,
visitor centres and sites of historic interest to be
explored closer to the city itself. There is not only plenty to see, but
also plenty to do when you visit Inverness, the Capital of the
Highlands of Scotland.
